The Sainsbury's Veterans Association has two Joint Presidents and a Chairman appointed by the Company and is managed by an Executive Committee and an Operations Committee.

The Veterans Support Officers (2 full time) at Sainsbury's Business Centre in Holborn, support the two committees and administer the Veterans Association.

Responsibilities

To set the Veterans Association budget, monitor the performance against budget, negotiate with the Company regarding the per capita sum, review Veteran policy, oversee operation of the Welfare Scheme, Visitors Organisation, Regional Centres and Local Associations.

Responsibilities

To review all Veterans activities and manage the day to day functions. These include Reunions, Regional Centres and Local Associations, Welfare Scheme, Visitors organisation, recommending changes to the budget and contributing to review of Veterans Association policy.
